Learn to Fall In Love

I have heard these words several times throughout the years. They ring so true, and for me~ this happened long ago. I was reminded of the mantra tonight when one of Dolvett’s team members said it on the Biggest Loser.

You have to “fall in love with the gym.”

It is actually easy to fall in love with the gym. When we act like fitness is a chore~ it becomes a chore. You must love what you do. This is key to any successful fitness program. It is all in your head. Mind over matter if you will.

I have to say that Dolvett won me over tonight. His team members receive steady training methods and positive reinforcement. After each got off the scale and had only lost 2 pounds he still responded with encouraging words. This is no surprise from a man who says “my goal in life, be better than yesterday, and continue to change lives one rep at a time.”

We all have to start somewhere!
