Transcending Love

This evening I watched the Sci-Fi Fantasy/Thriller Transcendence. The critics were hard on this one, but it was hard for me not to like Johnny Depp and Rebecca Hall as Will and Evelyn Caster. Yes…it was another tragic story about the connection and disconnection of lovers. The sunflower was the symbol of this.

This one was different because neural networks, binary, smart people, science and technology, and deep love were at the heart of the story. It is a long movie, but worth a watch if you like technology, smart people, and sad love stories. The best movie quote was the closing line. It basically summed up the movie.

“He created this garden for
the same reason he created
everything else…to be with her.”
