Today’s Dishes

For Thanksgiving lunch at my mom’s, I cooked a few things. I slow roasted an Irish buttered, smokey mesquite turkey. The Irish butter made this one a success. I will definitely slow roast from now on. I cooked the turkey for an hour on 450 to brown it and then slow roasted on 180 for 13 hours over night. It was super good and was ready by the time I got home from the gym at 10:00am! The side dishes I made were spaghetti squash with garam masala and cinnamon and golden corn with diced tomatoes and bacon. I also gave my mom her special gift. It was a good day.
