Tangled Roots

We all lead separate lives now, but I grew up with these ladies since we were tiny souls. It is always so nice to get together with them, especially for the holidays. We laughed our heads off, talked about so many things, and had a blast. I do miss them and now that Ang lives in Houston, it will be harder for all of us to get together. In Matched, Ally Condie said, “growing apart doesn’t change the fact that for a long time we grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled. I’m glad for that.”
