That Awkward Moment

At work, I’m one woman amongst a team of all male directors. A few months ago, one of them sent me this meme. I thought it was hilarious and loved it. I guess that’s how he sees me. Often close to reality this seems. It’s that awkward moment! Glad some think that’s bad ass! I have this on my fridge.

Not long ago we went to a dinner party with some gym peeps at Theo’s house. It was a nice evening. We were able to explore his museum-like decor with artifacts and professional photographs reflective of his travels, however, Marcus’s “Mandrill Cake” won the spotlight that evening. It was a creative spin on a decorative, high-protein cake to honor our gym and I loved that idea! Of course I took this custom muscle recipe straight to Martin, the owner of Mandrill’s ’cause it was so coo’!

SF-NM Women Killin’ It

Recent gifts for two strong New Mexico women whom were competing in other states out of Santa Fe, NM! Susan and Renee. I love crafting and I love these bottles and I found a perfect card! Acknowledging other people matters! That’s why I gave gifts to inspiring women in support of what we all love! Lifting weights! I do know that one went pro! Cheers to strong women!

Just Grumpy Cat

Mike O’Hearn has apparently been training at Mandrill’s while he’s filming a movie here in New Mexico. The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre is being filmed somewhere around here. I thought it was proof I’m focused in the gym and stay on track when a 4x Mr. Universe can waltz in and I don’t even notice. Too funny.

Spec my latest creative project. This involved the rerender of an original painting in Mandrill’s Gym, which was created by a former Disney artist. My digital composite was designed based that.

This was a first for me, but maybe not a last. It was fun, I learned a lot about making a sign that can bleed light, and it looks way cool. The machine now matches the huge acrylic painting in the gym. Let there be light and muscle!!!!

A while back I cleaned up my desk at home and found these white papers. I printed them like four or five years ago. At that moment, I realized I had implemented and have made sum scholarly gainz.

Here is my newest tee shirt design. I can’t really call this one a shred ha? I guess it’s considered more of a void if ya think about it. This was a new tee shirt I bought because American Gothic was perfect for the remake. I finished this design a few weeks ago, but I took the selfies today when I got to the gym.

Gheeshush

At Vitamin Shoppe, we earn a point for every dollar we spend. We have regularly redeemed the benefits of that with the help of our buds there, while not asking many questions. The shop recently added a new line to the receipt showing a grand total on the points.

I guess I didn’t recall it was a point we earned for every dollar we spend? When our bud pointed out how much we have spent and we were almost to 11gz… “I was like… gheeshush! That’s a small car!”

Well… gunz don’t grow on trees, but they do grow like trees if you water them with protein! I can’t complain (see FLASH Forward- Growth). Ohhh and 11 gz+…yeah… we are more than there now.

This receipt is from the first week in May. On that round, I scored sum Syntha-6, Cold Stone Creamery– Birthday Cake Remix. Yummy new stuff!
