Karmic Koffee
March 1, 2020
“Karma is experience, and experience creates memory, and memory creates imagination and desire, and desire creates karma again. If I buy a cup of coffee, that’s karma. I now have that memory that might give me the potential desire for having cappuccino, and I walk into Starbucks, and there’s karma all over again.”

October 17, 2019Here is a timelapse of an acrylic painting I finished tonight for Brandee, David and Lil Pumpkin. I could have easily printed this, but I wanted it to be handmade and special. I thought about them the whole time from 10.1 thru 10.17 each night when I worked on it.
Tonight she came over to see it and other things I’ve made her. She told me she loved it and that the things I’ve made are just what she wanted. That makes me feel good. Love goes into everything I do. These things are for their baby shower this weekend.
That Awkward Moment
October 5, 2019At work, I’m one woman amongst a team of all male directors. A few months ago, one of them sent me this meme. I thought it was hilarious and loved it. I guess that’s how he sees me. Often close to reality this seems. It’s that awkward moment! Glad some think that’s bad ass! I have this on my fridge.

September 29, 2019Not sure why it took me over a year to post this? I guess it was time.
One day last year we decided we wanted to check out a new brewery named Tumbleroot. We happened to run into the infamous fly-fisherman of the Pecos River… Norman Maktima. After that, we made a pitstop at the Sante Fe Brewing Company.

☆Marcus’s “Mandrill Cake”☆
____________________
Not long ago we went to a dinner party with some gym peeps at Theo’s house. It was a nice evening. We were able to explore his museum-like decor with artifacts and professional photographs reflective of his travels, however, Marcus’s “Mandrill Cake” won the spotlight that evening. It was a creative spin on a decorative, high-protein cake to honor our gym and I loved that idea! Of course I took this custom muscle recipe straight to Martin, the owner of Mandrill’s ’cause it was so coo’!

Nightlight
August 22, 2019I bought this lil bobblehead Dr.J nightlight a couple weeks ago at Gamestop. It’s fun and no cords! Also there on my nightstand is: one of my many beloved diffuser nightlights; my lil potion nightlight; and my salt crystal nightlight. I do love nighttime lights of all magical looking sorts.

Watch “Giving Back…” on YouTube
July 19, 2019Here’s my son recieving training this summer from an intern who is a freshman at UNM. He’s learning how to work at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. He’s been going there since he was a young child and it’s such a great place. It is important to me to raise a thoughtful, creative, cultured child, whom could give back to his community.
This summer I decided it was time to take active steps in teaching him how to develop a good work ethic. We both became official volunteers at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. What a great way to give back and teach kids something valuable in the process!
